Percent is a free app that allows individuals to fundraise for their favourite team, society or charity… for FREE.  Really simply, every time you spend in a Percent partner store, you RAISE money with the retailer donating a % of the transaction to you chose cause. In most cases you SAVE money too with a deal or discount! There’s no cost to the cause either – it’s a free source of funding! Working with amazing retail partners such as Itsu, Wasabi, Nando’s, Wagamama and many more, we are launching in a number of major university cities over the next 6-12months.

We have a BIG mission – to grow the total amount of money that goes to good causes worldwide, and are doing something that has the potential to make a real impact in the UK and beyond. In October 2018, we launch our first city (Cambridge) and this will kickstart a series of launches in cities across the country.

1. We want to direct 1% of global retail spend to good causes.

2. Help stimulate communities on a local level right through to a global scale.

3. Change the dynamics and perceptions of the global giving sector.

There is the potential here to be the generation that leads the transformation of the global giving sector and how future generations interact with it – and it all starts with our UK university launch.

What?

You’ll be tasked with building the launchpad for Percent to take-off in your university. With teams launching in cities across the UK, you’ll be part of one of the youngest, fastest growing startup teams in the country.  There will be a number of key aims that together we will work towards each term.

These bodies are KEY to the Percent model and we want to be working with as many of them as possible.

• Contact and build database of all the university teams & societies.

• Set up meetings with teams & societies and confirm them for launch.

• Manage each team & society launch and relationship throughout term.

There is potential for them all to earn significant funding, simply by mobilizing their networks. We can give you the tools and you can help them achieve brilliant results.

There will be weekly contact with Will who is heading up our UK launches, as well as opportunities to visit our London HQ + of course the obligatory team meals and nights out!

Alongside the management in London we will be looking at:

  • team & society signups

  • user downloads in the university

This will be vital in generating as many user downloads and then transactions in the city. It will be planned on a weekly/terms basis and consist of primarily:

• Launch event – help organise Percent launch event with all team & society representatives.

• Student media/promotion – how do students at your university see content/find out about things? I.e. are their specific student magazines we should be working with.

Finally, we want your creative and university-specific thinking and input. There is freedom to bring ideas, additional strategy and angles to the team to help achieve the above.

Why join?

You will be able to earn money and get food and drink covered + lots of Percent-only benefits in your city
