Dicey Tech is a technology start-up company that quickly built a reputation in the Manchester community for advocating and demonstrating 3D printing’s creative potential to innovate and educate. Our three brands operate around digital manufacturing, product innovation, and education. We build QBee 3D printers, use them in our Maker Studio to provide 3D printing, rapid prototyping and product innovation services for companies across industries, and leverage this expertise and technology in our 3Ducate Platform to enhance the way students develop skills, learn about technology, and choose future careers. The QBee is an open-source 3D printer designed according to maximise three main principles: ease of use, affordability, and performance. The Maker Studio brings ideas to life and solves problems for customers across industries by combining curiosity with technical expertise, prototyping excellence, and bold ambitions. The 3Ducate Platform uses 3D printing as an engaging, project-based learning medium that promotes both technical and soft skill development through curricular and extracurricular projects that address industry-relevant challenges. These workshops and events are designed to teach students how to design, build, code, and problem-solving, while providing them with a taste of various industries including robotics, automotive, aerospace & space exploration, manufacturing, IoT, and more. As we build and exploit opportunities to sustain growth, we are searching for ambitious and competent individuals to help us manage and grow our operations. The nature of our activities and company culture require creative problem-solvers with a curiosity-driven passion for learning and development.
